Account Representative
My client is a market leader within the forex & CFD brokerage space.
Job Purpose
Maintain and expand customer base through active sales and business development activities. To enhance the customer experience by providing outstanding customer support.
Duties:
- To provide outstanding customer support and to expediently respond to customer queries using chat software, telephone, email and Salesforce
- Provide customers expert technical support and answer queries related to our products
- Establish professional relationships with prospective clients and business partners, as well as maintain productive relationship with existing customers
- Actively promote their products to customers and prospective customers through all support and sales channels
- Represent the company at live events (seminars & trade fairs)
- Assist in related projects, such as for marketing campaigns, conducting webinars, translations into target language, writing website content
- Assist in the process of opening all types of new accounts where new accounts are applied for by prospective clients
- Liaise with client services to obtain missing or additional documentation, where necessary doing so in a second language
- Liaise with the other departments regarding any account queries
- Provide reports as required regarding new account status
- Update Salesforce and Accounts spread sheet for every account
- Send out welcoming emails to new account clients
- Liaise with Compliance regarding any account queries, ID inconsistencies or any suspected fraudulent activity
- Be fully aware and up to date with relevant regulations regarding account opening and AML requirements
- Advise the business of county blacklists for accounts and communicate any extra ID checks required for certain countries
- Any ad hoc duties as required by the manager and business needs
Education:
- Minimum undergraduate degree, preferably in Economics or Finance, or at least 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services sector
Skills:
- Demonstrating professionalism and enthusiasm towards clients
- Organised and able to handle high workload
- Able to keep high working standards throughout
- Confident and possessing solid negotiation and communication skills
- Self-driven
- Willing to travel on request and comfortable working on a shift rota
- Experience with CRM databases e.g. Salesforce
- Knowledge or Experience of MetaTrader 4 & 5 platforms or other trading platforms
- Knowledge and interest in trading, FX and CFD markets and derivative products
- Additional language skills (native or fluent only)
